What is the deal with all these Billys and Michaels looking all grim and intense? Yeah, it serves the underlying story, sort of, but both Billy and Michael are both capable of ignoring real life and making their way on their own through adversity. Michael, in particular is mostly joyous through the whole show, only showing his sadness when Billy is bound for the city.

I am dying to know what is on the t-shirt worn by one of the Michaels. It looks suspiciously like a shirt that addresses Florida's hateful, awful, pointless "Don't Say Gay" law.

I do love all the colorful costumes on the boxing boys. Looks like a box of Skittles was magically turned into cast members never previously seen in a BETM production.

Good to see Joe Caffrey cast as Jackie once again.

Oops. Looks like I am now motivated to see the show as originally planned. Grabbing those tickets back!

The new production will make use of the theatre's innovative layout with action taking place in the audience and foyer. Stephen Daldry and Eric Fellner recently visited.

I will attend the performances on July 12, 13, 14, 26 and 27 with possibly more added.
