It is just 2 years since Daniel went into serious preparation for his debut as Billy 25 April. I believe that he turns 15 later this month. I have not counted the numbers of performances he has made on tour but he squeezed in 13 before the closed in OZ. Now he is the last of our OZ Billys and hopefully still there for some time.

I hope to get to Dallas and see him before he retires.

I just did a quick count (so I may have missed something) but it looks as though Daniel has performed 38 times on the current US tour, meaning that in all he has surpassed his half century as Billy - 51 times in all in Oz and in the US tour. Although he is nearing his 15th birthday, he is still the perfect size to play Billy, so I hope he goes on delighting audiences a long time (I recall reading an interview with his mother which indicated his contract runs through to the summer - at least).

Daniel is also a 'star' whenever the boys are interviewed by the local press - he has a real knack for publicity and quickly wins over the crowd! I hope he has a long run as Billy, and I expect we will see him in the future, perhaps acting or directing movies, which is his ambition. He has a 'natural' talent in front of any audience!

You're absolutely right. Seen him yesterday. He just took the audience and kept the contact throughout the show, had us all standing after 'Electricity' and the Finale.

Daniel and Griffin were great as always, but as for the interviewers, how about doing a little research online the night before to get some of the facts straight? Just 10 minutes of research would suffice. Am I asking too much? I guess I just have one of those jobs where I can't just wing it.
