NYCDA has been having its big convention in the city for the past several days. On today's agenda is a Billy Elliot Audition Workshop. Somehow, I think at least one former Billy and one current Billy may be involved with this. Both Corey and Tade are NYCDA members.

NYCDA is holding another event today, August 1, that involves BETM cast working with the attendees. This time, it's the Bright Lights and Shining Stars Gala.

On Monday, Aug. 1, The KJ Dance Studio's top eight dancers will attend and perform in the New York City Dance Alliance's (NYCDA) Bright Lights and Shining Stars Gala, a private dance convention where up-and-coming dancers are invited to meet industry professionals. At the convention, $50,000 worth of scholarships will be handed out and the dancers will perform with Broadway's "Billy Elliot" cast as well as other industry giants.
