ahhh ok! That sounds cool.
Kinda glad it's not based on the movie. It wouldn't be very uplifting!

It's about a young Jewish boy about to celebrate his Bar Mitzvah. Things are somewhat complicated by the fact that his parents have split and he has just moved to a small town with his mother where he has no friends to invite to the ceremony. The unusual thing about the Broadway production was that all of the parts in the show were actually played by kids who were real teens, not twenty-somethings pretending to be teens. Even the band for the production consisted of teenagers, and boy were they good!
