Re: Tickets for Sao Paulo
I see that things start a bit later in Sao Paulo than here or in London. Evening shows at 9:00.

Re: Tickets for Sao Paulo
So . . . just in case the opportunity should happen to arise, we all want to be good Boy or Girl Scouts and Be Prepared. Here are a few things that I determined after bumbling around the TicketsForFun website. (Freddie made me do it ) No, I am not literate in Portugese, but Google Chrome's translator did just enough of the job to get by.
First step is to register. One required piece of information is CPF which has to meet a specific formula. Thanks to Wikipedia, we have the calculations. A fake CPF number 12345678909 was accepted.
Another required field is the RG number. Once again from Wikipedia, this is an 11-digit number and does not require any formulas. Any random 11 digits will probably work.
Finally, it appears that if you use Mastercard for payment, that can serve as an e-ticket for free. Holding tickets at the box office incurs an additional $10 charge.
And now I'm praying I'll be able to make use of this research.

Re: Tickets for Sao Paulo
Just a reminder: If you are a US citizen, you must have a visa in order to travel to Brazil.
http://travel.state.gov/travel/cis_pa_t ... _1072.html
http://travel.state.gov/travel/cis_pa_t ... _1072.html
ENTRY / EXIT REQUIREMENTS FOR U.S. CITIZENS: Brazil requires U.S. citizens to carry a valid U.S. passport and visa when traveling to Brazil for any purpose. You must obtain your Brazilian visa in advance from the Brazilian Embassy or consulate nearest to your place of residence in the United States. There are no "airport visas" and immigration authorities will refuse entry into Brazil to anyone not possessing a valid visa. The U.S. government cannot assist you if you arrive in Brazil without proper documentation. Travelers under 18 years of age and their parents should carefully review the visa application requirements. The adjudicating official at the Brazilian Embassy or consulate may require a birth certificate and notarized travel authorization to issue a visa to a minor.

Re: Tickets for Sao Paulo
Does anyone know of a detailed seat map for Credicard Hall? It seats 7,000! I can't seem to find a "choose your seat" option either.
Re: Tickets for Sao Paulo
I cannot find any detailed map. Perhaps someone else knows? Looking at other events booked there, I see that many sections are often blocked off, reducing the number of seats. They seem to make ticket purchasing about as difficult as possible.
Re: Tickets for Sao Paulo
OK, I'm getting closer (row numbers, but not seat numbers):

http://www.checkpointtours.com.br/br/te ... g/mapa.htm
I started googling "mapa de assentos"
Edit:
And even more:
http://www.t4f.com.br/credicard-hall/ma ... entos.html
From this I gather seat numbers start at the center and get higher going outward - evens on one side, odds on the other.

Re: Tickets for Sao Paulo
So I don't suppose anyone has actually purchased tickets for Sao Paulo online form outside of Brazil? I get declined, but my credit card company sees no attempted purchase. Strange.
