I'll make it easy for you, Steven.
"Look at me. Look at me! I'm the captain now."
Film and character.

Re: Quotable Quotes.....
Actually, I had a different character (not actor) and film in mind...
It's a very recent one.
So I think we need to answer this question before moving on.

Re: Quotable Quotes.....
'Thicker than Water' is one, saying it as Oliver Hardy, after Stan received a blood transfusion:
"Well, here's another nice mess you've gotten me into."
I think he said something similar in 'Chickens Come Home':
"Here's another nice mess I got you into."
Over to Ellen.........
Is the character in mind Barkhad Abdi, in 'Captain Phillips'?

Re: Quotable Quotes.....
Next up: two quotes from the same character. They are taken from a 1972 novel, which was adapted into a BBC TV series in 1980. The character, and the title of the book/series, are required:
PJ: [after a student criticizes the 1926 coal strike] When I was a young boy... much younger than any of you here, I went to school one morning, leaving behind a father and three brothers working on the early shift. That's 4am to midday. When I got home that evening, my father and two of my brothers were dead. Their bodies were never recovered. It was judged to be too expensive to be worth it.
PJ: This is my first go at teaching - teaching schoolboys, that is. Up till now, the only teaching I've done is trying to teach recruits to look after themselves and not get shot their first week out. There wasn't time to be patient, see, and I never had to learn to suffer fools gladly. That might take me a bit of time, Mr. Dobson. Until I do, maybe you'd better keep your head down, eh?

I would still like someone to give the correct answer to mine.

Re: Quotable Quotes.....
OK, an easy one:
The Author
The Play/Film
The Actor who recited these words in the most recent film.
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers.

Re: Quotable Quotes.....
Laurel Thatcher Ulrich.
It was not Marilyn Monroe. Or Eleanor Roosevelt.
Or even Anne Boleyn.
The essence of the quote is almost timeless. If scholars claimed that it was first uttered by Eve, I would not be surprised.
Back to films:
In England now-a-bed
Shall think themselves accurs’d they were not here'
so I expect a quick answer from The Colonials!

Back to films:
Oh. so obvious for the Brits! They can hum the tune................................However, like Henry's men, they areWing Commander X: [addressing the squadron at the briefing before the raid] Well, the training's over. For obvious reasons, you've had to work without knowing your target, or even your weapon. You've to put up with a good deal from other people who think you've been having a soft time. But, tonight, you're going to have a chance to hit the enemy harder, and more destructively, than any small force has ever done before! You're going to attack the great dams of Western Germany!
