I enjoyed it immensely to watch this - and to watch them perform the part with the wire without the wire was somehow amusing

Love it! Thanks for finding and posting it, Lola. When you see videos like this, it really makes you appreciate all the many hours of hard work that go into rehearsals between shows. Kurt mentions also that, at that time, he was teaching ballet classes to the Billys three times per week -- that's in addition to rehearsals like this video illustrates, plus the tap and acro and acting and school work. Whew! I'm exhausted just thinking about it!

I just continue to be amazed at how hard the Billys work, the commitment they have to bringing forth that excellent product one sees on stage when attending BETM and to constantly improving themselves in their skills.

Yes, thanks for finding the great video! The rehearsal was filmed in Minneapolis around December 2010.

Sorry, but I don't see that information anywhere on the vimeo page. Do you have a public link that substantiates your post?

No public link, just a keen eye. If you look out the window in the video, you'll see the Butler Square Leed Certified building. To my knowledge, the only such building is in Minneapolis.

Here's another neat video I hadn't seen before of Kurt Froman being interviewed on a Phoenix TV show from last April, along with Lex Ishimoto. http://vimeo.com/28663367

Does anyone else keep hearing a periodic recording of a woman's voice in the background saying, "This is a demonstration"? :?

Yes. And it seems to bear no relationship with the video.
