The cast and crew are doing a great job. But it is a bad sign that the bookkeepers have cut down the time that the boys have to get ready to play Billy. This can only result in more pressure on these children, and reduced quality in some early performances.angelenroute wrote:I'd make this little interview required reading for forum members who follow and care about the Tour. Things are tight, and they're doing the very best they can with limited time and money. Bravo to all of them for still pulling off a remarkably wonderful, inspiring show every single time!!! The cast and crew are doing a GREAT job!!!BEtourfan wrote:This interview with Billy Elliot's new resident director offers insights into the challenges of putting on a show with lots of children. http://www.montrealgazette.com/entertai ... story.html

The cast and crew are on their way to Montreal according to this tweet by new ensemble member Paul Aguirre:
"A sensible little bus trip to Montreal"
We all have seen countless pictures of the trucks bearing the BETM logo, but I for one never realized the buses also have the logo:

Re: Publicity for Montreal
It's a double-decker bus between two other double-decker buses. I don't think I have ever seen a double-decker intercity coach in Canada and double-decker buses of any sort are very rare, usually old London buses used as tourist buses. The bus on the right also has doors on the left side. I'm guessing it's a London public transit bus, not the bus they took to Montreal.
Re: Publicity for Montreal
It also has 'Victoria Palace Theatre' written on the back. Unless they shipped it over from London, I think it may be a stock photo. Still, a nice idea!LiamM wrote:It's a double-decker bus between two other double-decker buses. Here's a blog piece, including some great production photos of the show taken at last evening's opening show in Montreal, by Montreal photographer Pierre Bourgault:
