Re: Cesar Corrales
Stephen Daldry said in his opening speech that last night was Cesar's first performance EVER. He was spectacular and I'm sure will only continue to improve with time.

Re: Cesar Corrales
Congratulations on your first performance, Cesar. If you were nervous, you never showed it. You performed like a seasoned veteran and were amazing to watch. May you have a long run in Chicago!

Re: Cesar Corrales
I was glad to see the first performance of Cesar
And, he accomplished amazing growth in only three days
He was getting much much better in Sunday night !!!
So my 1st New York Billy was David, then also my 1st Chicago Billy was Cesar.
I feel that I have a connection with Cuban Canadian boys.
Both of them are great ballet Billys

Re: Cesar Corrales
Perhaps you should say "Hispanic Canadian boys," as Cesar is actually Mexican. But it really makes no difference in the end where a Billy is from when you get right down to it. The main thing is that they all seem to become brilliant Billys.

Re: Cesar Corrales
Sorry Ellen Don't mean to be a pain. Cesar was introduced by Stephen Daldry as Cuban raised in Mexico than going to Canada for the schooling.

Re: Cesar Corrales
Yes, I have been told that by another member. However, I had the impression that Cesar was actually born in Mexico, just as David was born in Canada. I suppose they could both be considered Cuban in the sense that their parents are Cuban. So I stand corrected on that detail...

Re: Cesar Corrales
According to The Chicago Sun Times, Cesar was born in Mexico of Cuban Parents. So Stephen Daldry's remarks were a bit misleading. (Unless he is correct and The Times is wrong, which is more than a remote possibility if their research is as accurate as that of most news media.)
