Broadway in Chicago's FaceBook site has a series of pictures from the Ballet and Boxing event this past Saturday showing the Ballet Girls, Billy to be Marcus Pei and Dillon Stevens participating in the event.

Theatermania announces the departure of Tommy Batchelor and Giuseppe Bausilio from the Chicago production and the arrival of Marcus Pei and Myles Erlick, as well as making it official with regards to the arrival of Dillon Stevens as Michael.

No specific dates given.

I knew Dillon was from the South, but it turns out that he is from China Grove, NC, which is about 30 minutes away from where I used to live. :D And let me just say that China Grove is definitely not a hotbed of cosmopolitan sophistication! 8-) :lol: It just goes to show that talent can be found everywhere!

Lol. Very true, Ellen. The BETM creatives and casting people are very astute at "beating the bushes" looking for talent. They leave very few leaves unturned. :)

Canada's National Ballet School (NBS) published a press release announcing that two more of its students, Marcus Pei and Myles Erlick, will be joining Billy Elliot the Musical in the role of Billy. The release also mentions the two other NBS students who have preceded them in playing the role: Liam Redhead and Cesar Corrales.

A Chicago, Billy related event is announced on the show's website for September 12, 2010.

Called "Culinary Collision - Back to School with Billy!", it will feature members of the cast teaming up with the nuitrition group Common Threads. Here are the details:
