Congratulations to Mitchell on the small accomplishment last night opening the Sacramento run, the first time he has opened a Tour city.

I wonder if the very recent 13th birthday might have something to do with this. In my (limited) experience, Mitchell has drawn some of the biggest audience reactions and it has been a mystery why that wouldn't be the ideal performance for the critics to write about.

I agree Atreau Mitchell does draw a strong response from the audience and It will be interesting to see what the critics say about his performance. I am happy for him to have the privilege of doing the opening night.

I didn't see Mitchell's opening performance in Sacramento but was there today for the closing and he was a smash! The audience absolutely loved his performance and the women around me were pulling out the kleenex during The Letter, you could hear a pin drop during that song. Way to go Mitchell-- great performance, you're awesome!!
