Just to add: There is no guarantee that Matthew will be dancing any particular performance on this tour. In fact, at this point I haven't been able to confirm with certainty that he is actually doing this tour, although I originally got the impression he was. If/when I get confirmation one way or the other, I will let you know.

On Sunday afternoon, Billy Whiz, maria, and I made our way to the Hawth in Crawley for the 3 pm matinee of "My First Cinderella," the ENB2's children's production of the ballet choreographed to the music of Prokofiev. It was a very appealing production, with beautiful sets and costumes. There were many, many little "princesses" in attendance, dressed up for the ball. What fun! The young cast was excellent all the way around. Cinderella was a lovely dancer, and her step-sisters were delightfully funny. But for us, of course, the star of the show was Matthew Koon as the Prince. What an elegant dancer he is, and what a handsome prince! Afterwards, we were able to have a brief chat with Matthew before he headed off with the rest of the cast back to London. If anyone wants to see the production, the next stop will be Manchester at the Opera House, May 18-19, and the final stop will be London's Richmond Theatre, May 25-26. Matthew will be graduating from the ENBS this July, and he has told us that he will be starting after that with the Northern Ballet in Leeds. Well done, Matthew.

Matthew's graduation from ENBS is coming up soon. He will be performing for the last time as an ENBS student in their summer show at Wimbleton, July 5th and 6th. The final show on Saturday, July 6th will be his graduation show.
