You would like it, the music is from our era, and it is very funny.
Me and Jabka will go with you next time you can make it

What role does Jason Donavan play?
Re: Priscilla Queen of the Desert

He plays the part of Tick who is one of the main characters.andrewcraig wrote:What role does Jason Donavan play?

It was a fabulous show!
The audience was very reactive and enjoying it. We had restricted leg room seats ouch!!! great view but if you are taller than 4ft you will stuggle...
My opinion is:
Don Gallagher is very different to Tony not made up my mind yet what I think - he was OK but will take a few shows to get used to him.
The new Bob is pretty good, now Cliver Carter has gone into Wicked.
The new understudy for Jason was on and he was really good... Hugo Harrison I believe. He is covering his holidays and does Mondays normally. Craig Ryder was the previous understudy and was really good too - I actually find them both more believable than Jason in the role.
Oliver as usual stole the show as Felicia - he is.... well! must be seen to be appreciated

I'm going to see this for the second time next week, row K of the balcony. I can only hope it is a decent view?
Re: Priscilla Queen of the Desert
Last night's performance was FANTASTIC! We sat in the dress circle for £15! Now that is what I call a bargain.
I was a little worried, following some comments in this thread, that the new Bernadette wouldn't be as good. However, he was just as good as Tony Sheldon! In fact, I could barely tell the two apart, which isn't a bad thing as I didn't want Tony Sheldon's portrayal of Bernadette to be altered too drastically! Also the new Tick was very good! Oliver Thornton played Felicia - great as ever.
