Ethan's open access Formspring contained some comments of an injury or other medical issue some weeks ago, and that he was off physical training for a while - whether this is relevant or not, I do not know. I have no specifics.

Seems I remember he had some sort of chronic ailment that delayed his debut in the show this past summer . . .or am I dreaming that up ? If he's still listed as part of the ensemble, then perhaps he's going to be playing Tall Boy once the show leaves St. Louis and will hopefully resume his performing as Billy at some point.

I don't recall ever having heard anything about a chronic ailment. At least, nothing was ever mentioned on here that I recall. As for the Tall Boy thing, that is answered in the radio interview with Lex and Jacob, linked in St. Louis Publicity. Spencer is playing Tall Boy just for the St. Louis run, since St. Louis happens to be his hometown.
