Lee Hall and Simon Beaufoy (The Full Monty) are co-writing the screenplay for a film about cricketer Harold Larwood, he of the infamous 'Bodyline' scandal (Larwood was an ex-miner). The Bodyline Scandal involved high speed bowling that endangered the batter, during the UK/Australia Ashes matches.

Okay, after listening to this (and I'd heard of this before), I believe I would like to add another "prop" from Billy Elliot history to my wish list. Something tells me it'll never be mine,

but I'd love to at least see it sometime! Lee, if there's any chance you see this, please know I adore you and this character/world you've fashioned, and do hope you share this "prop" online at least at some point!
