Tickets sales have been extended and are currently on sale to October 10, 2015.

My source at the theatre there tells me that while they will probably extend sales a month at a time, it is hoped that the show will run there till Christmas.

Thanks for the link.
They ask about setting up such a big show in the small country of Iceland.
But then again if everyone of the 340,000 citizens is going to see it once in the 550 seats theatre, that would make 618 sold out performances. Let alone the visitors from abroad and those who want to see all 4 Billys. :P That'd make about 2400 shows. Thus it could run 2 to 8 years with 6 shows a week. 8-)
Funnily, since the Billy actors would eventually grow out of the role, one can clearly state that it is impossible for each Iceland citizen to see all 4 Billys.

Ticket sales have now been extended to December 27, 2015, which appears to be the final show in Reykjavik.

This is Part One of a video that could be called 'Finding Billy - Iceland'. It is amazing in its production.

Here is Part Two:

Much is in Icelandic, but Lee Proud and others speak in English. Although we may struggle with Icelandic, do note how several of the English teachers speak to the boys quite easily in English.

This is excellent, even without knowing Icelandic. As far as English, almost everyone in Iceland speaks it perfectly.

Wonderful, thanks for posting the links. It's a pity that I can't understand Icelandic, I would have enjoyed knowing what the boys and their mothers have to say!

What especially struck me is the enormous difference in (mainly dancing) ability between the auditions and the 'final product'. More so than what I have observed in similar videos from the UK, USA and Netherlands productions. The British teachers also comment on the fact that ballet and tap is 'not a tradition' in Iceland. So that makes the job of getting to the required level so much more difficult. I have lots of admiration for the boys and their teachers for pulling this off!

Awesome documentary! I had no idea the Billys had never danced before they started training - unbelievable! I have only seen the view official videos that are out there but judging from that their dancing is outstanding.
