The website louisville.com ran this interview with associate choreographer Mary Giotinno today. It may have been posted earlier in another place as I don't believe Mary is any longer associated with the show (although the information in the interview seems current and, at one point, Mary mentions she is based in NYC and supervises all the dance aspects of the show). But, at any rate, there's a lot of great info in the interview and it's really well done so I thought it was worth posting here.

Nice article! I think you're right--it was recent. I believe Mary Giattino is still listed as the Assistant Choreographer on tour website.

I checked my program from Columbus. Mary is listed on the title page as Assistant Choreographer, and is also has a biography in the "who's who" section.

The Kentucky Center, the venue for the Louisville stop of the BETM Tour, has published on their blog website today the interview Sir Elton John did with CBS News anchor, Katie Couric, first aired in 2008. It is one of the most extensive interviews ever done with Sir Elton about his hand in the creation of the musical.
