Seacoast Rep, in beautiful Portsmouth NH, has announced that BETM will be produced from February 7th to March 9th 2019.
It is a remarkable small theatre where every seat has a fantastic view of the stage - and Portsmouth is an historic New England seaport town worth a visit in its own right (one hour from Boston).

Tickets are now on sale:

For those unaware of this theatre, here is a clip from last season's In The Heights:

The configuration is similar to a small version of Arlington's Signature Theatre: audience on three sides, in a box theatre configuration. Great sight lines everywhere, which should suit BETM.

Still no news of casting.

Seacoast Rep has found its Michael. Burke Brickner will reprise his role from 2017's Cape Cod production.
Retter Entertainment, is so proud of our Bette Retter Memorial Scholarship winner, Burke Brickner! This boy has the heart, spirit and tenacity of the most talented lion on the planet and deserves all of the success that is coming his way!
Burke will perform the role of Michael, (again) in my all-time favorite musical at the Seacoast Repertory Theater in New Hampshire February 8th - March 9th.
