Interesting that she's not a direct replacement for Caroline Deverill - her agent's site says she's second cover for Mrs Wilkinson and first cover for Dead Mum. I wonder whether Helen French will move up to become first cover (or alternate) Mrs Wilkinson?

This is my 'theory' too... Steph seems to be covering the exact roles that Helen French is covering at the moment (ie. 1st Understudy Dead Mam, 2nd Understudy Mrs. W) so this could be possible I guess.

With the departure of Caroline Deverill on Saturday night, Steph makes her ensemble debut in tonight's show (February 20, 2012). As previously reported, Steph will be the u/s for the roles of Mrs. Wilkinson and "Mum".

As was previously speculated, Helen French moves up to become the alternate Mrs. Wilkinson.
