Billy

Post by patc »

Anyone ever seen this Billy?

Anything composed by John Barry must be good.

Didn't Paddy Glynn (Gran) have a spell in BETM as 'wor alternate Grandma?

The pedigree behind this musical is extraordinary. Barry and Black co-wrote a number of the Bond film songs; they are probably best known for 'Born Free'. Michael Crawford starred in this back in 1974? You cannot get better lead than that.

'Billy Liar' is a great play, film and musical, so I must see this.

Yes, around 2007 I think.

I`ve seen the German version of "Billy" many years ago in Vienna (I was a teenager!!!) and I still remember one of the melodies - I just tried to remember and it was there, so it must have been really impressive ;)
London: 27 shows (Ryan 2* - my first Billy, Dean, Kaine 4*, Adam, Redmand 4*, Harrison 3*, Harris 2*, Tade 3*, Ali 2*, Matteo, Ollie, Bradley, Nat, Euan - my last Billy)

I can´t really explain it, I haven´t got the words
It´s a feeling that you can´t control ...
